Rare Porsche Found In Original Condition

Published by PGI Auto on March 1st, 2012

Classic and custom Porsche’s are extremely coveted in the automotive world.  Finding a currently rare Porsche that has been untouched by custom design or restoration is a big deal.  It would be like living in a world full of already painted canvases and coming upon the most exquisite empty canvas.

The Porsche recently unearthed in Ireland that is causing a stir in the Porsche community is an unrestored, right hand drive 1972 Porsche 911S.  What is even more astonishing about the vehicle is its low miles and original Signal Yellow paint color.  There are a few features in this car that pertain to only the earlier 911Ses and are not often found in original condition.  These include the ‘H1′ headlamps and aluminum engine lid and rear center panel.

The car was sold to the auto specialist company Autofarm, who plans to do a modest restoration on the vehicle and sell it for a projected 100,000 Euros.
