The 2012 Beijing Auto Show happens in 11 days and Porsche is gearing up to celebrate the world premiere of their brand-new 2013 Cayenne GTS during the auto show’s festivities. From the information they have released about this anticipated sports car in an SUV’s body, we know the new Cayenne GTS will have a more powerful engine, more dynamic power delivery and a tauter chassis with lower ride height.
Under the new hood is an 8 cylinder engine producing 420HP, allowing the GTS to reach 62 MPH in only 5.7 seconds and reach 100 MPH in just 13 seconds. Who wouldn’t want to drive their SUV 130 MPH? At least you know there’s one that allows you to. The engine is connected to an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission.
The exterior has been updated with a sportier and sleeker look and given the front-end of the Cayenne Turbo. You’ll find more prominent side skirts, wider wheel arches and a unique roof spoiler. The interior features standard leather with Alcantara elements. We only have to wait 11 more days to see the full vehicle and all the new specifics.
